The western states of Maharashtra and Gujarat
are located in the Deccan plateau and have a long
and exciting past. Given the length of the indian
coastline it is difficult for a visitor to find
the perfect spot under the sun. There are marvellous
unspoilt stretches of golden sand along the coast
of Goa and the western states. Bombay (now Mumbai),
the financial capital of India is also the capital
of Maharashtra. Picturesque hills and dynamic cities
form a circuit that is full of variety and interest.
Gujarat welcomes tourists with an enormous variety
of cultural influences from many lands. Besides
the busy textile looms of Gujarat the superb artistic
and aesthetic traditions has a certain charm. India's
heartland, Madhya Pradesh is located on a hilly
Plateau. ts pleasant hills and valleys, the home
to a variety of wildlife is Kipling's India. The
Royal cities, fine wildlife sanctuaries and exotic
hill stations make this region an interesting and
a traditional insight, a must see for tourists.

Duration:
6 nites / 7 days
Day 1: Delhi
Arrive
Delhi. Check-in at hotel. Post lunch, proceed for half
day city tour of Old & New Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi / Agra
After
brief sightseeing of Delhi, drive from Delhi to Agra,
en-route visiting Sikandra. Further drive to Agra. Check-in
at hotel. Overnight in Agra.
Day 3: Agra
Morning
proceed for half day excursion to Fatehpur Sikri. Post
lunch proceed for city tour of Agra visiting The Taj Mahal,
Agra Fort and Etmat-Ut-Daullah. Overnight in Agra.
Day 4: Agra / Gwalior
Early
morning transfer to railway station to board air-conditioned
deluxe train for Gwalior. Check-in at hotel. Post Lunch
proceed for city tour of Gwalior also visiting the Gwalior
Fort. Overnight in Gwalior.
Day 5: Gwalior / Jhansi / Datia
/ Orchcha
Morning
transfer to railway station to board air-conditioned deluxe
train for Jhansi. Further drive from Jhansi to Datia.
After sightseeing of Datia Palace, further drive to Orchcha.
Post lunch proceed for sightseeing of the Orchcha Temples
and the Palace. Later walk through the town and witness
the sunset at the cenotaphs from across the river Betwa.
Overnight in Orchcha.
Day 6: Jhansi / Bhopal
Morning
transfer to railway station to board air-conditioned deluxe
train for Bhopal. Check-in at hotel. Post lunch proceed
for sightseeing in and around Bhopal visiting the Taj-Ul-Masjid,
Bharat Bhawan and Art Gallery designed by renowned architect
Charles Correa. Overnight in Bhopal.
Day 7: Bhopal / Sanchi / Bhopal
Morning
drive from Bhopal to Sanchi. Visit the famous Buddhist
Stupas of Sanchi. Lunch at MPTDC Restaurant. Later drive
back to Bhopal, ending the tour.
