Tours to India > Northern Panorama > Tour Code PT01: Golden Triangle [ Northern Panorama (MAP) ]
Regions Covered : Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab,
Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal, and Rajasthan
The northern India is a kaleidoscope of mighty snow capped mountains with green-forested
hills; meadows carpeted with flowers; glaciers and clear lakes. To the extreme north lie the
pristine lakes and alpine shrubs of the icy landscape of Leh and Ladakh. The lower ranges of Himalayas stretch from Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh. They are
covered with deep woods of pine and fir, waterfalls, streams and meadows, a variety of flora and fauna, apart from an array of wildlife. The glaciers of Himalayan ranges are source to many sacred rivers of the northern plains. The northern India also consists of the fertile and green landscapes of Punjab and Haryana spanning across to the Thar Desert - land of Rajasthan. The people of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan are very colorful but they lead a gentle paced life.
