The colours of South are gorgeous. Against
the backdrop of Emerald green rice paddies and palm
trees men in traditional white and women in bright
and vibrant colours of pink, lime green, royal blue,
citron yellow go about their daily lives. The women
adorn themselves with Gold ornaments studded with
gems and scarlet blossoms and white jasmine along
their long black tresses. To bring good fortune
into their homes, white rice flour paste is used
to create curvilinear rangoli designs on their walls
and doorsteps. This special and distinctive ambience
of South India makes Life more traditional, pleasant,
and graceful and in some places most modern. South
India retains most of the essence of the ancient
and classical India in their Temple state of Tamil
Nadu. Karnataka however reaches the peak in Indian
Technological advancement at its silicon city of
Bangalore. The Indian culture and tradition is reflected
in the holiest Triputi town in the state of Andra
Pradesh with the city of pearls at Hyderabad. Kerala,
the lush coastal strip in the south west of India
is a land apart. All along the coast are networks
of backwaters and lagoons making this state an exotic
picturesque tourist destination. |

Day 3: Mysore

proceed for sightseeing in and around Mysore. Post lunch,
visit the Somnathpur Temple. Overnight in Mysore.
Day 4: Mysore / Hassan
